WorldRiskReport
The WorldRiskReport is published on an annual basis by IFHV and Bündnis Entwicklung Hilft in cooperation with the Network on Humanitarian Action (NOHA). It features the WorldRiskIndex which states the potential disaster risk of 172 of the world’s countries. The index considers exposure to natural hazards such as earthquakes or cyclones, and calculates a society’s capacity to respond to such events. Each year the WorldRiskIndex is supplemented by a focus topic that allows deeper insight into individual aspects of disaster risk management.

The IFHV calculated and methodically updated the WorldRiskIndex in 2018 for the first time. The WorldRiskReport has been published annually by Bündnis Entwicklung Hilft since 2011. The WorldRiskIndex was developed in collaboration with United Nation University’s Institute for Environment and Human Security (UNU-EHS).
