Recently, Rafael Bohlen, research associate and PhD student at our institute, was awarded with the Fulbright scholarship. From November 1, 2021 to April 30, 2022, Rafael will stay at City University New York as a visiting PhD fellow. Embedded in the team of Professor Robert Smith, he will conduct research on Latin immigration to the US and the dynamics of gang violence in New York City and surrounding areas.

The Fulbright Program is the flagship international educational exchange program sponsored by the U.S. government. It is one of the most widely recognized and prestigious scholarships in the world.
