Prof. Dr. Wolff Heintschel von Heinegg of the Europa-Universität Viadrina Frankfurt (Oder) gave the third lecture in the Knut Ipsen Lecture Series. In his lecture, he spoke about "The Future of the Law of Peace and the Law of Armed Conflict against the Background of Increasing Confrontations" focusing on both challenges to Jus ad Bellum and Jus in Bello in contemporary warfare - with particular attention toward the war in Ukraine.
