As a part of the IFHVs IHL Clinic Network with the Universiteit Leiden and the Università Roma Tre, the IFHV hosted a three day exchange conference on the campus of the Ruhr-Universität Bochum. Of the course of the conference, the students from the different law clinics presented the projects that they had been working on and heard from experts and practitioners in the field of international humanitarian law. 

Within the IFHV, the IHL Clinic was built into the summer semester as visiting students as part of the NOHA and EMA masters programmes worked with students from the law faculty of the Ruhr-Universität Bochum to work on real-world cases involving international humanitarian law.
